We’re absolutely thrilled to announce a brand-new partnership between Nailsea Chiropractic Clinic and the Bristol Menopause Clinic! This collaboration marks an exciting step forward in supporting women’s health and wellbeing across the region.

As part of this partnership, Nailsea Chiropractic Clinic will be providing our Mobile DEXA Screening Service to the Bristol Menopause Clinic — bringing convenient, accurate, and professional bone density assessments directly to their patients.

What Is DEXA Screening?

Our mobile DEXA screening service has been an incredible addition to many health and wellbeing clinics across the Southwest. The DEXA (Dual-Energy X-ray Absorptiometry) scan measures bone density and helps to identify changes that may indicate risks such as osteoporosis.

Our DEXA scanner is a unique X-ray densitometer that assesses bone density in the distal part of the forearm. This site is particularly useful because it’s representative of the total body bone mass — allowing for an accurate snapshot of overall bone health.

By focusing on the forearm, our service ensures optimised precision and accuracy while providing results that can support important health decisions, especially for women navigating the menopause journey.

Upcoming DEXA Screening Event

We’re proud to announce that the Bristol Menopause Clinic will be hosting a DEXA Screening Event on 22nd January 2026. This event will give patients the opportunity to receive an on-site bone density assessment — a convenient and proactive way to monitor and protect their long-term health.
